All Kids Can Create

Art class is where students can let their imaginations run wild! Each grade level experiments with many different types of media and techniques ranging from paint, pencil and charcoal, collage, clay, sculptures, weaving, wire, printmaking, etc.

   Primary grades love to get messy with fingerpaints, cut and paste and sponge painting to name a few.

   Intermediate grades get serious about technique and focus on quality.

   Middle School gets excited about the sculpture unit when they create masterpieces from old shoes, cardboard, clay and various materials.

   All grades become familiar with major artists of various time periods and many different cultures.

   Our Catholic/Christian heritage is frequently incorporated as the subject matter of their artwork.

   All in all, art makes learning fun!
